9/21/22 they closed the park permanently....police said miniramp is unsafe. Yep....
Tried to ride the 6' vert part of the mini ramp with bmx today. That thing is worse than a frigging slip and slide. Besides the wonky transition (practically wall riding), the place is a sad reminder of what was one of NJ's best/ creative skatepark. Town states it was taken out for safety? It just needed resurfacing in select areas. Others say it was removed because of a bad element of people showing up to use the park...pissing in the corner, drinking, smoking, etc. It's all another testament of how people perceive the skater/bmx culture.
Sep 2020: All obstacles are gone except for the miniramp, which has a really weird feeling transition (steep curve where the ramp meets the flat). Don’t bother going... disappointing.
